The Hudson Valley Oil & Energy Council extends their gratitude to everyone who attended and participated in our Spring 2019 Trade Show Dinner on Wednesday, May 15.

We thank everyone who was in attendance for the evening and we extend our gratitude to the associate members who exhibited and contributed wonderful prizes for our raffle.

A special thanks to all our guest speakers for the night!

  • Emilio Petroccione, Esq., ESEA’s legislative and regulatory attorney, gave us an update on the ever-changing New York State legislation and answered questions regarding the future of our industry as it relates to the recent climate change policies in discussion.
  • Barry Knox, director of REG, and Jeff Murdy, regional sales representative, gave a broad overview of what they do concerning Bioheat® Fuel production and distribution. They also discussed the challenges being faced and answered questions about how Bioheat® Fuel can become a pathway to a low carbon future.

At this year’s Person of the Year Dinner Dance, we celebrated our very own Leann Panebianco! Thank you all for joining us and for your support, especially those who sponsored the evening’s festivities.

We’d like to thank the night’s honoree: Leann Panebianco. For years, she has inspired us all with her hard work, leadership skills and dedication. It was an honor showing her how much we appreciate her lasting impact on our industry!

Finally, we extend our gratitude to the staff at Anthony’s Pier 9 for their help with the evening’s meals and to Zolz Entertainment for providing the music.

Once again, thanks to everyone who attended and sponsored yet another memorable Person of the Year Dinner Dance.
